How much does it cost to hire Singleton Law Firm?

How long do I have to file a claim in Georgia?
Under Georgia Code Section 9-3-33, you have two years from the date of your injury to file a personal injury lawsuit. Wrongful death claims also have a two-year deadline. Medical malpractice has its own rules with a two-year limit and a five-year cap. Missing these deadlines almost always forfeits your right to recover. Don’t wait. What if I was partly at fault for the accident?
You can still recover damages in Georgia as long as you are less than 50% at fault. This is called modified comparative negligence. Your compensation is reduced by your share of fault. For example, if you’re 25% at fault and your damages total $100,000, you would recover $75,000.
